I was not sure what to expect. Was hoping for a lighter weight denim for summer, but they're still okay. Mid weight, so I can probably wear them year round. They are cute and comfortable, my only complaint is that the back pockets are too high, kind of looks odd. I'm 5'3", so I'm sure this issue is because of strap adjustment. In order to get the back pockets where they should be, I have to loosen the straps so far that the crotch is down to my knees. I kept them because of the comfort, and they are cute in the front. And I'm not bothered by someone a little perplexed by my back pockets. But if you're short and back pocket placement is important to you, you may want to pass. I got the small and I usually wear a 4 or 6 in jeans. They are just right... loose but not baggy. 4 stars because of the back pockets. Everything else is great.
